I’m a nerd, and I love Archeaology. Put the two together and you end up at a lecture on geophysics and Archeaology. It was fascinating really, but I need to know more about Grande-pre now. The weather here really isn’t good enough for an outdoor quest, I’ll have to start my quest at the library. Wish me luck!!
This Puyu yarn from Peru is a silk tube filled with Alpaca. I wish I could share the soft, light feel. It’s super warm, just in time for cold weather.
I’m knitting a beret to match my mitts.
I finished a sock with MTosh. Onto the next one.
One mitten down, one to go. This is local yarn from River Road Farm, Gaspereau Valley Fibres. The pattern is local also, from Tammy at the shop. Happy sheep make beautiful wool.
It needs to be blocked but they fit perfect and are super warm.

I’ve been knitting…
I had a great afternoon, doing some Archeaology at the Shubie Park. It was a beautiful day.
Yesterday I spent the afternoon knitting at The Wool and Tart. I decided to bequest a recently finished cowl to a relatively new knitter Allie.
Its getting a little spooky at the shop…
I’m continuing with my Christmas knitting. Straw mittens and hat.
