Finished Airy Scarf
Airy Scarf update
Baby Knits
There’s a baby growing in my circle of friends. I’m feeling under the weather today, what a better way to cheer myself up then to start and finish a baby knit. This little cotton hat pattern is from “Last-minute knitted gifts” by Joelle Hoverson. This is my go-to book of classic patterns. Whenever I’m at a loss about what to knit I find the perfect pattern.
New projects
Finished this Beret from one of my favorite books, More Last-minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson. It’s one of my go to pattern books for basic well written patterns.
The yarn I used for my beret was a gift from a friend who visited Iceland. I was thrilled to receive this beautiful skein of Lopi.
Another pattern I’m starting for the New Year is from Joelle Hoverson’s first book Last-minute Knitted Gifts. I’m using this Berocco Yarn, Folio. The superfine alpaca and rayon mix will give the Hourglass Sweater a nice drape.
