Had a lovely day yesterday in Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Rebecca’s Restaurant always puts on a fantastic spread.
I enjoyed every mouthful.
Stopped at Have A Yarn for…yarn of course.
I love this yarn. She’s a talented hand dyer. One color morphs into another. I think this little beauty will become a shawl.
So many adorable places along the way. I found a few antique and vintage items to add to my collections.
There’s a little shop next to Rebecca’s that’s super cool. I have a love of succulents and she has a variety in stock. She found a little air plant and I found a bubble glass vessel and voila!
It was just a fantastic day!
I’m loving these girls! Always good for a laugh!
The Tall Ships arrived!!!!!
Look at all I accomplished this week and I loved every minute of it!!!
So many great things today. Working at processing artifacts.
So beautiful! I love puzzles!
Got some fresh air when we checked out a few things around The Fortress.
After Volunteering I headed to Kennington Cove a popular beach nearby.
A truly glorious day!
Nice and relaxing today.
I found this artifact bag with my excavator initials on it from 2013.
A backlog of artifacts to process. I have my work cut out for me. It's pretty interesting to to see all the artifacts up close. One of my favourite things to do in the Archaeology lab.
Great first day volunteering with Fortress Louisbourg Archaeology.
Digging through boxes of bones to find a really old Dog skeleton so it can be studied.
You can camp overnight at the fortress!!!
Ummmm…..packaging of artifacts circa 1967….
