Slade House by David Mitchell

I was quite taken with this book. It’s a supernatural story with a twist of magic. Starting in 1979 through to 2015. A mysterious house that traps its “guests”. Something lures them in and then they can’t leave. The storyline kept me reading, I wanted to scream No, don’t go through the gate! Highly recommended.
