So last week…

I had an interesting vaycay I was sick for half of it. A nightmare really but I’m better now and back at it. My White Caps Cowl keeps going and going. Can’t wait to be finished. My other projects are on hold. With many projects in the queue I hesitate to start something new without finishing at least one and this is going to be the one. I will get wear out of this I’m hoping. The silk and cotton isn’t too heavy.
It’s a beautiful day in my part of the world. Something to be grateful for.

Planting Seeds and Bridal Bliss

Yesterday I was lucky enough to attend a bridal shower for a lovely girl on a beautiful day. You know I love silver tea pots and china cups. It was a fun event with laughter and even knitting. The lovely girl manager of the yarn shop where I frequently knit. Take a look at the crazy Fascinator I made, of course instead of on my head I wore it on my wrist.

I planted my seeds, as usual during Apple Blossom time. Weeds!!

Day one vacation- The Painting

I’m finally on a break from work. I have a few things planned for the next 5 days. I’m going to have to make every moment count. Tomorrow is a travel day to visit my Grandmother but My very first plan was to get this beautiful painting on the wall. It’s by local artist Ryan Hupman. I fell in love with this painting from the first moment I laid eyes on it.
