Shiny Things
I checked out a new Cafe and Bakery called Shiny Things. It’s filled with an eclectic mix of vintage antique treasures for sale. They sell awesome baked goods by Slow Dough. I had a grilled cheddar sandwich with a cherry soda and a short bread. I also indulged in a coconut chocolate donut made by Mortiscycle Donuts. It was awesome.
Spring Cleaning
I am doing a bit of spring cleaning (and modelling my new shawl:) when I came across my Grandmothers old scrapbook. Do kids do that anymore? I think Facebook maybe has replaced the fun of collecting treasures in scrapbooks and shoeboxes. Now it’s blogged or posted. Oh well I still collect treasures. I’m a treasure hunter by nature. Archaeology, beach-combing, and hunting for antiques. Here’s a few shots. She was a royal watcher. She’s 90 now and these were from the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth the second.
Lola Shawl
I finally finished my beautiful shawl! I love it! It’s great for Spring. I love it so much, yesterday I was shopping for an out fit to match it.
