I will be starting Flamenco lessons next week so I picked up this lace skirt for my class:
New book to start. I heard a lot of great things about it, Canadian author, whoop whoop!!
I finished the Milo tunic today. I also was busy making a stuffed bunny. It turned out really cute. I designed a little dress for the bunny to match the tunic.
The Wool and Tart today had wonderful food offerings. Ginger and carrot soup which I shared with a friend.
I also finished my Very pretty lace scarf.
I’m planning on posting the finished bunny after I receive a photo. Everyone fell in love with the Sunny Bunny pattern. It’s off Ravelry.
It’s turned out so cute.
I’ve started the cable section of the tunic. It’s adorable! The sheen on the Modern Cotton is beautiful. I want to make more projects with this Berroco yarn.
We had a great day wandering in Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. After lunch at Rime we went to The Lunenburg Makery, I love the idea of a Makery. It is a place to create, you can learn to make clothes, and other crafts. I picked up some really cool design books. Worn and Anthology were my favs.
Then we went next door to Luvly. A clothing boutique that specializes in Canadian designers. I found a cute coral dress by Pre-loved.
On we went to Dots and Loops. A store specializing in handmade things. I found a few treasures.
I can’t seem to travel through Mahone Bay without stopping at Have A Yarn. I found some pretty colours of CoBaSi.
I love this Big Blue yarn, 100% Blue Face Leicester Wool from Mineville, Nova Scotia. It will be turned into a hat soon. A special request from an Archaeology buddy.

I have a few projects on the go. Which is unusual for me but these yarns are too beautiful to sit in my stash basket. Here is a Lace scarf I’m knitting with Debbie Bliss Angel.

I’m in love with this hat pattern. The pattern calls for cashmere but I’m trying Cobasi-cotton, bamboo, silk. It’s working out great. The pattern is called Osmena and it is by Jenn Jarvis (nipperknits.com).
