Today I spent my time finishing projects, and starting new ones. I didn’t travel to my writing group today. I’ve learned that I can’t make time and it won’t stand still for me. My Wisp Wrap is almost complete. Which is good because I want to wear it on Saturday!! I have to decide on ribbons or buttons to secure it. Ribbons would be fun because I can lace it up any which way. The wrap is designed with eyelets around the perimeter.
I found these books at The Box Of Delights bookshop in Wolfville. The cover is what catches my eye then I read the back and first page. If I’m intrigued it’s a go!!
The Wolfville Farmers Market will feed
me before I pick up our CSA share for this week. Our shares have been packed with the local bountiful harvest of late and I’m looking forward to what I may find. Whatever is in season always seems to blend well in a soup, so if all else fails…soups on!! Here’s some great offerings from Frais Catering who will be at tonight’s community supper. Love it!! I wish you could have experienced the wonderful smells from Frais Catering as I was sitting at The Wool n Tart finishing up my commissioned pieces for delivery.
Future projects, the CoBaSi teal/turquoise will be striped socks and the CoBaSi plus in olives will be a drop stitch cowl.
I found these beautiful words in my Taproot Magazine.
What an inspiring post! Love the quote by William Penn. A great takeaway indeed 🙂
Thanks!!
