Black-Eyed Susans by Julia Heaberlin
Just finished another Thriller. It starts with the main Character Tessa present day and then flashs back to a teenage Tessie. Enduring a traumatic event, it unfolds into a nightmarish horror story. The author writes a cliffhanger at the end of the chapter then makes you wait for the answers after the flashback. Genius! It kept my attention for sure!
Park Ave update
The Widow by Fiona Barton
This is a first novel for Fiona Barton. It’s truly an original story. It’s written in flashback style. The story told from many different view points. Like an episode of Columbo you know who did it from the beginning. The ‘why’ is the most fascinating part. Why did she push her husband in front of a bus? The story unfolds from there.

Nerd Quest
Today I was lucky enough to be able to go to a pre historic ceramic workshop at The Nova Scotia museum. 
Fascinating stuff!
We had a hands-on day and were able to view some of the Erkskine collection. Beautiful early pottery collection of maritime aboriginal peoples.
