Louisbourg Day 3
We had a rainy afternoon, so we packed up early and headed indoors to the lab to process some artifacts found on a previous dig. Here are some pictures:
Wirbel Shawl
I’ve finished my shawl. I haven’t blocked it yet. I’ve been wearing it instead, I couldn’t wait.
One of those days…
Today was one of those days when you need to sit by the phone waiting for news. Good or bad. So I decided to do this waiting, outside, knitting with friends.
I’m really very pleased with how my Wirbel Shawl is coming along. The colorway is amazing.

Now I’m inspired…I don’t have a stash of fabric like I do yarn so I may try to pick up some lacy cloth to remake some of my t-shirts into this…

On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan
I found a quick read, the story is about a wedding night. I was more interested by how the author weaved the story then in the story at times. Trying to give the reader enough insight into the characters to tell a story that happens in one night must be challenging. The author did a great job.
Burly coat
Finished my commissioned toddler sweater knit with Burly Spun 100% wool. I’m sitting and knitting at The Wool and Tart. Frais Catering has soul warming chilli on the menu. Yum!
Beautiful Voices
Hey Rosetta!!
Just patiently waiting for Hey Rosetta! to start. We had a great supper at Mezza. I had as much food as I could manage including Red Velvet cheesecake for dessert. The Museum Pieces are opening.
