This shawl has taken ages. Sometimes I wish I was the type of person to follow a pattern and not adapt it….but I’m not…and I usually end up doing my own thing. 
I love the color way and that’s what usually sends me astray. I think the pattern I chose is too fussy for this color way. Can’t wait until I’m finished.

Knúsa
Knúsa means to hug in Icelandic. I’m starting this shawl with single ply wool by local yarn wizards Mineville. 
Pattern featured in Taproot magazine and created by Bristol Ivy.

My scarf
I’m delighted with this simple scarf pattern I designed. I used the self-striping yarn as my guide. 100% wool by Drops.
