Louisbourg Day Four

Happy Birthday to me!!!  I had a great day.  I volunteered in collections this morning then went exploring around The Fortress.  I found another piece of the puzzle.  Look at what they have to work with, it’s very intriguing.

Hmmmm….

Wore a few sparkly bits today…birthday suit…

Misty Moon Poncho

I was searching for inspiration and came across this yarn in my stash.  It’s Borgo dePazzi, degradé, 100% wool.  I made it up as I went along and it turned out to be a cute poncho.  I added one of my felted flowers and voila!, a misty moon poncho. Our view of the supermoon last night was spectacular.  I couldn’t capture the beauty in a photo but here’s my shot.image image

Wicked weekend

Saturday, we traveled to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg to have lunch and shop around.  We had lunch at Rebecca’s.  The chef is very talented.  Take a look.

Found a pretty dress at Luvly in Lunenburg.  Canadian made.  I love when the tag says Made in Canada!

Yesterday at Have A Yarn in Mahone Bay I found some new projects:

Wirbel Shawl by Sue Berg:

Today I had a lace knitting workshop at The Loop in Halifax.

This yarn I will use to make the Wirbel Shawl by Sue Berg.  A one skein project!
