Sleeping Beauty
We saw the most delightful performance last night. Jörgen ballet’s version of Sleeping Beauty at the Rebecca Cohn. There’s nothing like the sound of pointe shoes on a stage floor. I’m always amazed by the strength and fortitude it takes to perform all of those scenes and make it look easy. The pit orchestra was awesome, with the sound of the bassoon and the harp. Lovely!
My knitting family
We are so adorable wrapped in this wool blanket. Yes? A beautiful blanket made in PEI. I hung out at The Wool and Tart today. I don’t know what I’d do without these knitters.

Economy Shoe Shop
I’m about to dine after my felting adventure I had at The Loop. I had a great time making my own masterpiece. My lovely teacher holds up my finished product. I’m starving now.

Wentworth
Doing a lot of driving these days to visit family. We are having a beautiful Fall. I can knit in the car if I’m careful and if my husband drives of course. The Wentworth Valley is stunning this time of year.

Final Thoughts
We had a great time last night at The Rebecca Cohn with The Blue Dot Tour. Inspiring words from David Suzuki made me rise today with a new outlook on our planet and our place in it. Shane Koyczam’s words from his beautiful poem stay with me “the seed can’t see the flower”.
