The Widow by Fiona Barton
This is a first novel for Fiona Barton. It’s truly an original story. It’s written in flashback style. The story told from many different view points. Like an episode of Columbo you know who did it from the beginning. The ‘why’ is the most fascinating part. Why did she push her husband in front of a bus? The story unfolds from there.

Nerd Quest
Today I was lucky enough to be able to go to a pre historic ceramic workshop at The Nova Scotia museum. 
Fascinating stuff!
We had a hands-on day and were able to view some of the Erkskine collection. Beautiful early pottery collection of maritime aboriginal peoples.

Maudie
This movie was awesome! I laughed, cringed, and cried. Ethan Hawke (Everett Lewis) and Sally Hawkins (Maud Lewis) play the lead roles. Sally Hawkins obviously put a lot of heart and soul into the role. Ethan, I haven’t watch him in many roles, Dead Poets Society probably was the last one I saw. I’m totally in his fan club now! The Cinematography was beautiful. Shot in NFLD but resembled Digby and Marshalltown N.S. I was impressed. 
Nesting
I saw a little bird flying with a few sprigs of nesting materials. I was inspired to fix up my own nest.

I worked on my indoor garden today..this new little succulent made my heart sing when I saw it!

I’m going to add little pockets of some sort. Maybe heart shaped in a contrasting colour? Who knows!
